Renshi Reginald L. Venson

Renshi Venson

Renshi Reginald L. Venson is one third of a rare trio, becoming the first son to follow his father into the U.S. Karate Hall of Fame.  He also captured the 2003-2004 PKC season middleweight fighting championship and along with Lightweight champion Dwight J. Venson, the first brothers to hold point titles in the same season in any organization.  Renshi Venson was promoted to 6th Degree black belt in March of 2010, and is currently undergoing the extensive process required to become an Assistant Chief Instructor of Shuri-Ryu.  Only two Yudansha are selected for  this by the Inner Council of Shuri-Ryu in a given year.
